Hey all, just wondering if anyone can tell me the first show of the year? I thought it was the Melbourne pet and animal expo, can anyone confirm that we are going to that one?
Thanks

OH right i understand about being busy...there is either too much time or not enough, generally the latter.

Well i know i am not part of the comittee but i would love going, as long as it is not ridiculously hot and we have a descent spot.
Look forward to the news.
My gang are doing pretty well, i just cleaned out toe boys FK today and it took me 3 hours! Although i admit i was a bit...distracted by them.....They wouldn't stop licking me! It's not my fault!

Anyway, Cheers

A new calender will be posted shortly, we had a committee meeting last night and went through what shows we will be attending and which we will not be. There are many shows and expos that want us to go along but we will only attend those that we feel benefit us and our pets.
But yes Caulfield will be the first for the year and an email will go out in the next few days about it.

All babies from Glenys's last litter have been rehomed as far as I am aware. She kept most as usual as she cant bear to give them up!

I never finish cleaning my single FK in less than 2 hours and I take the ratties out first ! They are just too keen to "help"

.... by the time I take everything out, wash all the plastic stuff, wipe down the cage itself, decide on the colour theme for the week, choose the best hammocks to co-ordinate with the theme, put everything back, put some new things in, change where I put the orginal things because they don't work so well now the new things are there, change where I put the new things........... the time just disappears, but eventually I do get to the good part - putting the boys back and watching them have a ball checking out whats new.

Tarquin is from the rescue girl's litter that was born at my place. He didn't leave....WARNING - fostering rescues is dangerous. Ask Anne C who had the other 2 mums !!!

Notice you have a Rupert and Wilbur - those were the names of my first 2 ratties.

Ah yes i actually just picked those names as i found them very cute and somewhat dignified.
Rupert is a mink self and wilbur is a PEW.
