Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing Pocket Pets Workshop

Melbourne Polytechnic, Epping Campus.

How wonderful to be back in the classroom face to face!
The AusRFS was pleased to take part in the Safe & Gentle Handling of Pocket Pets Workshop for the first year Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing students at Melbourne Polytechnic, Epping.

Everyone had a hold/wrapped a rat into a burrito. There were lots of questions and genuine interest.

Thanks to AusRFS Education Team members Julian and Megan, along with Megan’s ratties Fly, Pizza, Will-Bear, Curie, Rorschach, Dot and Jessica.

Certificate IV Companion Animal Studies, Box Hill TAFE

Another class conducted via Zoom. 20 students studying Certificate IV in Companion Animal Service at Box Hill TAFE attended the class to learn all about pet rats.

All went well apart from running over time but that was only because the students had so many questions.

Thank you to AusRFS Education Team co-ordinator Julian for conducting the class.
